Getting to and around Amsterdam |
|
You'll be arriving at Schiphol, one of the biggest airports in the world. Take the inexpensive train to the city's central station which departs every 15 minutes, and you'll be in the center of the city in about 20. If you prefer a taxi, it's much more expensive, and takes between 20 and 45 minutes to the center.
Other options include pre-booked transfer services:
- Private Arrival Transfer
- Private Departure Transfer
- Shared Arrival Transfer
- Shared Departure Transfer
Once there, Amsterdam is made for walkers. It's a relatively small city, and you can reach most sights on foot. If you ever need public transportation, hop on one of the trams. Better yet, do as the locals and use a bike to get around.
