A BEAUTIFUL HOTSPOT NOT TO MISS IN VIENNA: ORLANDO DI CASTELLO RESTAURANT

Perhaps generated by the interest in checking out its much talked-about mostly-white interior, the new Orlando di Castello Restaurant has become one of Vienna’s hippest hotspots. Also helping is the fact that it’s open throughout the day and allows you to dine at any time, as well as treating yourself to some extraordinary pastries which you can take home.
The restaurant’s initials (ODC) are seen throughout much of the custom-wallpapered interior, together with floral patterns and upholstered furniture, and some metallic elements. All together they form an elegant space for a place that’s buzzing throughout the day. It serves an excellent breakfast which includes a choice of soy yogurt for vegans and a gluten-free option. The main menu offers international dishes heavily inspired by Italy and there’s a vast selection of European wines.
Best of all is that everything is quite reasonably-priced for such a beautiful, hip place and for a city generally thought of as expensive.
It’s open from Monday to Saturday, from 7:30AM to midnight and located on Freyung 1, a street not far from the Rathaus building, Vienna’s monumental city hall.
