K Bar
Great intimate bar for an evening cocktail. The knowledgeable staff will recommend the right drink for you, although the house martini is always a good option.

Grill Bar
The buzz created around this café-restaurant-bar attracts a cool crowd in the evenings for sophisticated cocktails and Eurasian food. It has a modern interior with a lounge atmosphere where you can hang out through night.

Pussy Galore bar, Copenhagen Pussy Galore's Flying Circus
Located in the hip Nørrebro area, this was one of the first modern sleek bars there and continues to be a happening place. It serves great cocktails and food that may also be enjoyed outdoors at any time of the day (by the way, the name of the place refers to the James Bond character).

Bar Rouge at the Skt Petri
One of the hottest cocktail bars in town, it is found inside the Skt Petri Hotel, where the rich and the beautiful go for a night of drinks and socializing.

Absolut Ice Bar
Of course Copenhagen has to have its own Absolut Ice Bar. It's located inside the SwentySeven design hotel, where the crystal clear Scandinavian ice is everywhere you look.

Oak Room
This hip bar is a great hangout serving some fantastic cocktails in a modern interior. The cool crowd loves the drinks and the overall atmosphere, making it a guaranteed good choice in which to end your day.

Karriere Bar, Copenhagen Karriere Bar
Copenhagen's young and trendy crowds have turned this bar into one of the most popular in the city. It's an art-themed space created by a young local artist with an attractive design décor around which food is also served.

No.8
It's small and a little pretentious, but this is an intimate members' club, after all. It's a sophisticated place where the city's jet set and wannabes often start their night before moving on to Nasa (see below).

NASA
Still a place to see and be seen in Copenhagen after a decade as the coolest place in town, this club has a strict dress code and guest list, so if you make it inside you know you couldn't be anywhere more sophisticated and exclusive. The interior is stunningly futuristic, mostly in white and is always packed on weekends.

Rust
Known as one of the most established and laid-back clubs in town, Rust opened in 1989 and was extensively renovated after a fire in 2007. There is a relaxed sitting area where you may catch live music on weekends, usually performed by upcoming and alternative acts. Rust club, Copenhagen On a separate floor a DJ spins anything from electro to hip hop.

Vega
Opened in the 1990s, this club is now legendary and home to some of the city's most fantastic club nights. It's a complex of concert halls and bars that remain popular despite more recent competition -- there are more alluring places in town now, but Vega should be one of the top nightlife options in the city, especially for its spectacular atmosphere and on concert days.

Emma
A 19th century mansion was converted into this cocktail lounge and club with beautiful rooms made up of stucco and high ceilings. That's where a civilised crowd gathers in between catching some air (and going for a smoke) at the roof terrace. Live music and DJs are other attractions.
