All of the city's nightlife hotspots |

Bar Astor
Featuring a 1950s look, this hip hangout serves good drinks accompanied by traditional snacky Brazilian food, sandwiches, and salads. At night there's a choice of good caipirinhas, international wines, and cocktails.
Clube Royal
A sophisticated 1970s-style ambience is the goal of this club which features erotic images inspired by the works of Picasso on the walls. Low lighting and darker colors create an intimate mood, while drinks accompanied by snacks are served to an elegant crowd.
Skye
The bar of the moment is located at the top of the Hotel Unique, the hotspot for Brazil's celebrities and São Paulo's most fashionable tourists. The views of the city's skyline are unequalled anywhere, and the connected restaurant serves French and Japanese specialties. Whether you go for caipirinhas or for sushi, this is the place to be in São Paulo.
Baretto
Live music and varied drink choices are offered at this very sophisticated bar inside the Hotel Fasano. It often hosts the biggest names in Brazilian music (one of Caetano Veloso's albums was launched here on opening night), but it's the best place in the city to listen to bossa nova or jazz on any night.
Bar Brahma
Six decades-old, this bar was a favorite of intellectuals and politicians in the 50s and 60s. It was closed in the 90s but was reborn in 2001, still serving a good dose of drinks and now also salads, pastas, pizzas, and classic meat dishes. A live band always guarantees a lively atmosphere.
The Week
This club is already a São Paulo institution (now also with branches outside the city), and is arguably Brazil's most famous club, known for its electronic music selections (and a largely gay clientele). There are two dancefloors, a garden and a pool, and several bars where you can relax with a drink.
D Edge
Gay and straight meet here with the same goal: dancing all night to the sounds of electronic beats. It can be new wave, hip hop, or house music, which once earned the club a top spot in a British magazine as one of the world's hottest clubs, voted by international DJs.
Club Disco
Judging by the futuristic decor alone, this is São Paulo's most stylish club. The crowds are also selected at the door according to looks and style, while the main sounds on the dancefloor are house mixed with the latest dance hits. Dress to impress and mingle with the city's beautiful people.
Lotus SP
This highly-selective club is a New York-style hotspot attracting top DJs to spin house music to the fashionable São Paulo crowds. Speaking of fashionable, Naomi Campbell has stopped by, as have other top models. It's only open on weekend nights.
Clube Gloria
Different designers change the decor of this club every six months. This is just one indication of how it likes to keep itself fresh, perhaps inspired by the excitement of the first makeover when it was created from a remodelling of an old church. No matter when you show up, you'll likely find mirrors and special lighting everywhere, as house music is mixed for the dancefloor.
Pacha
Pacha seems to want to be everywhere people who like to party are at, and with São Paulo being one of those places, it was inevitable that it also opened here. When the international DJs you're familiar with travel to Brazil, they'll likely end up here.
