The Washington area is served by three airports, the Washington Dulles International Airport, Baltimore-Washington International Airport, and Reagan National Airport. To reach the city, use a coach service or a taxi. Reagen National also connects to the metrorail service.

The center of Washington DC where most of the sights are located is of manageable size and you can explore most of the city by foot. For everywhere else you should use the metrorail (although best avoided at rush hours) or a taxi.
