Georgetown's charming boutiques are Washington's best shopping experiences, with a variety of them lining M Street and Wisconsin Avenue. If you've just gotta have that great American souvenir, head to this shop on Pennsylvania Avenue. In between a bland selection of souvenirs there are special one-of-a-kind pieces and interesting presidential memorabilia such as Eisenhower's Christmas cards.

Those looking for a shopping mall should choose this one. It's small but very well located (can be reached by metro) and with a variety of shops, including an Ann Taylor and a Neiman Marcus.
