Vienna Airport and Transportation

How to get to and from the airport, and getting around the city on public transportation

Vienna Airport

From Vienna's international airport, hop on the S-Bahn train that takes about 40 minutes to reach the center of the city.

Transfers from the Airport

If you don't wish to rely on public transportation and prefer the convenience of a transfer, here are your options:

Arriving in Vienna by Train

If you're arriving by train, you'll find yourself in one of the city's four main rail stations. All of them are linked to several tram, bus, and train routes, and you'll easily find your way to your hotel. You also have the option to take the private arrival transfer from the train station and private departure transfer to the train station.

Getting Around Vienna

The U-Bhan (metro) can take you anywhere within Vienna, although riding the tram is also a great way to see the city.
